The Albana variety is closely linked to the Romagna tradition and territory, with a remarkable record: it was the first white wine in Italy to receive the name DOCG in 1987.
This wine has an intense yellow color and the golden aspects typical of Albana di Romagna. The notes consist of acacia flowers and stone fruits, such as peach and apricot, in addition to citrus. From the first sip, it reveals a rich and smooth taste, with intense tannins at the end, keeping a great balance between freshness and acidity.
The culinary menu can include fish and seafood recipes, such as Romagna-style light fish broth, but also fried fish, herb risotto or white meat.
