La Stejari is the super-premium range of Recaș winery so Recaș La Stejari Chardonnay is a golden yellow wine. Olfactory opens with creamy notes, overripe yellow fruits, such as apricots and pears. The notes of fresh bread, mayonnaise and butter are intertwined with those of fine vanilla. The well-defined aroma describes a lush, very dry Chardonnay, which intertwines excellent notes of yellow fruit and wood.
The culinary menu may include fish dishes such as turbot, shallots, sturgeon and seafood, semi-hard matured cheeses; poultry preparations such as pheasant, duck or quail with thick and creamy sauces or fine pastry preparations.

Prolonged time on yeast during secondary fermentation contributes to more complex aromas of nougat and roasted walnuts. The taste is balanced with a delicate fruit aroma, a fine creamy texture and a refreshing natural acidity. The finish is dry and fresh, with persistent aromas of citrus and nougat. Vin Rosu – Henschke – Henry’s Seven 2018
249,00 RON — available on subscriptionThe mixture of Shiraz, Grenache, Viognier, Mourvèdre is a tribute to Henry Evans who planted the first seven-acre vineyard in Keyneton in 1853. He quickly developed a reputation for producing the best wines in the southern colony. This blend highlights the historical introduction of French and Spanish varieties from southern South Australia in those early pioneer days and reflects the history, religion and culture of Barossa.
Varietal composition is 69% Shiraz, 20% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre and 5% Viognier. It has rich, lush and juicy aromas of wild berries and satsuma plum aromas, with a hint of anise and kirsch; the fine-grained velvety tannins provide texture and length for a beautiful slim finish. Intense aromas of red and blue fruits, ripe plums and cherries are elevated by notes of exotic flowers and stone fruits, with shades of mocha and bitter chocolate.
