Gitana Winery – Lupi

The Premium Gitana collection presents Lupi, a mature wine, of a seductive red, matured for a period of 10-12 months in 225l barrels and aged for at least 2 years in oak barrels from Krasnodar. The blend is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Saperavi grapes hand-picked from the Valul lui Traian area and traditionally vinified using modern equipment. The wine is elegant and has an intense bouquet, with strong tannins, well balanced and structured.
“Wolves” it is a masculine wine with a strong imprint of character. In the vineyards where the grapes come from to produce this wine, lives a small family of wolves, that’s why we wanted to dedicate this wine to them.
The culinary menu can include smoked meat and grilled meat, and vegetarians can enjoy it with fried vegetables, mushrooms and other fried vegetables, dark chocolate or leaf cigarettes.
Potential for aging between 10-15 years. It is recommended to decant before consumption, at least 60 ”.

Angas Brut NV obtained from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay is a sparkling wine of straw yellow color with fine pearl that has distinct varietal characters of fruit. Pinot Noir has strawberry creams and biscuit characters that gain complexity “in print”. Chardonnay contributes with finesse and length with a hint of citrus. The characters of walnut yeast add complexity and texture, the malolactic fermentation adds the creamy mouthfeel and the cleansing acidity ends with a note of fried, strawberry flavors. The taste has a creamy structure and restores the taste of citrus. The end is long.
